Martin Bishop, has worked in Welwyn for over 40 years and has built up a valuable reservoir of knowledge on the local property market. He is supported by a team of enthusiastic sales and admin staff at ease with the latest technology.

Martin started working for his father, Bryan in 1981.  He comments…”It was a very different industry back then compared with today, the huge advance in computer technology and, of course, the internet, has radically changed the way people buy and sell most things. The company though has stayed true to its roots, where personal service and expertise play a vital role in persuading sellers and buyers to continue to use our services.”

“After 40 years at Bryan Bishop and Partners and 30 of those at the helm dealing with some of the finest properties in the area, there comes a time when one needs to look to the future. I still love the job I do but felt it was time to make some changes and search for a younger person to assist me in moving the company forward.

I interviewed several people without success and then, as if by fate, I was introduced to someone who I thought would be an excellent addition to Bryan Bishops. His name is Ben Shaw. Ben lives in Tewin with his wife Lauren and two young children and had worked in estate agency for 12 years. We got on immediately and he joined me as a partner of the business in November 2021.

Since starting, Ben has proved to be an invaluable asset, he has a very professional and likeable manner and has a proven track record dealing with the upper end of the market. He has brought new ideas to the business and has already built up an impressive list of clients in and around the Welwyn area.
